Our check in time is 4pm or later and check out is by 10am. If you want an early check in or a later check out please request with our staff, subject to an additional charge.
Making a Reservation
Grandison Inn Reservation Policy:
If your reservation date falls within the next 30 days, payment is taken in full at the time of reservation unless prior arrangements are made. If your reservation falls outside of 30 days, it must be secured by a deposit: half the total amount of your stay. The balance will be charged at 30 days before your reservation unless prior arrangements are made. These payments can be made with cash, check, or major credit/debit card.
Grandison Inn Cancellation Policy:
Deadline to cancel or change the reservation is 14 days prior to your reservation. For reservations with at least 14 days notice we will gladly refund the value of your deposit less $25 or 15% of your reservation, whichever is greater. If your reservation is cancelled within 14 days of the stay, the guest can choose to receive a gift certificate in the value of your deposit less $25 or 10% whichever is greater.
The Grandison Inn is a non-smoking facility. Outdoor smoking areas are provided on the back landing, front porch, and in the side yard. Guests smoking in the rooms will be subject to an additional $200 cleaning charge.
We are a pet friendly inn! We have cat innkeepers, and innkeepers that love all animals.
Dogs are welcome but must be crated if left in the room unattended. Barking dogs make it difficult for other guests to enjoy their stay, so please consider leaving a noisier dog at home.
In the event that your dogs are not crated, you are subject to cleaning fees starting at $60. You will also be charged for any destroyed property in the room.
If you require pet boarding, feel free to ask the innkeepers for suggestions on who they would choose to take care of your beloved pet while you stay with us.
We welcome children of all ages. Please allow us to help you select a room that will be best for you, your children, and other guests. We do ask that they not play on the stairs or in the halls at any time. We have a lovely kid friendly side yard for them to enjoy. (We require you supervise your children if they use the play areas, as we will not be held responsible for accidents involved in play on our equipment) Roll-away beds and portable cribs are available for an additional charge.
Please inform the Innkeepers if you plan to do any special decorating in your room. Confetti and tapered candles are not permitted for cleaning and safety reasons. Please clear all other special needs with the Innkeeper.
- There is no cash value to these certificates. IE: You may not buy a $10 gift shop item, and expect $139.00 in change.
- You agree to pay any differences and all applicable taxes.
- Unless otherwise noted, gift certificates are good for 12 months.
- Gift certificates are not applicable on certain holidays or promotional weekends. Please check with the innkeepers.
We understand the risks involved with travel in this Covid-19 affected world. We ask that you join us in taking these measures when you come to stay with us at the Grandison.
- Please monitor your temperature prior to your stay. If yours is elevated, please reschedule.
- We monitor the temperatures of our staff.
- Hand sanitation: We have sanitizer at our front entry. Please use this upon entering.
- Food prep and delivery: We prep, cook, and deliver our full breakfast (weekends) to your room.
What we are doing
During this time of Covid-19 we want to ensure you that we are doing our best to keep you, our guests, as safe as we possibly can.
We disinfect everything in the room after a guests departure.
We utilize an industrial disinfectant that is also used in hospitals and nursing homes.
We take care to make contact with every surface an every item in the room.
We hit every surface in the room with a spray disinfectant.
